Ive always been buying Chocolate but yesterday i got Cookies and Cream and it was delicious.

You can always swap them at your local store for another flavor as long as you take the online invoice with you.

They do have Caramel Crunch but its only instore

Chocolate was the only flavour I could've chosen on the few times I've purchased one of these. Each flavour is really an entirely different bar ingredients-wise. Chocolate is whey protein based while others are soy protein based.

Nutritional Information for Chocolate, Caramel Rough and Choc Crunch.

Can't find it for Cookies and Cream. The online supermarkets should have the full label available to view for all their products. :/

Both the Chocolate and Cookies and Cream taste really good - the caramel rough is pretty nasty I think, personally speaking.

  • I don't use this brand, but heard good things, and this is definitely a good price.

    • Its also made in NZ from NZ whey protein

I prefer Musashi Low Carb Dark Chocolate Coconut personally. I used to take Aussie Bodies, but not any longer. Doesn't work well for me PERSONALLY.

        • Fair enough.

I like the HPLC bars because they are filling. I have them for breakfast

  • Anyone know when this expires?

    • +1

The ones i got yesterday from woolies are Feb 2016

  • whats the sugar content in these bars?

      • Thanks EC. just put a order through 17 bars for $40($1 cashrewards cash back) is a great price for these

lol High performance liquid chromatography in a bar.

  • +2

    $43 for a box of $12

    You call that a bargain?

    • That's what they usually are at other places

In this deal its 17 bars for $41 so yes, its a bargain !!

    • Protein bars are always stupidly expensive. You pay for convenience.

      • $2.40 for 45 grams protein is good value as a meal replacement

        • +1

          6 eggs are cheaper.

not if you eat free range

          @bargained:

I'm not. Eating caged eggs is pure cruelty.

How would you like to be locked up in a cage all your life !!

        • +1

@easternculture: What about the dairy cows used to produce the whey? (genuine question, not sarcastic or rhetorical) Are they free to roam or are they locked in stalls their whole lives too?

        • +1

@easternculture: We're talking protein, but anyway, care to elaborate on all the animals or human beings that have been negatively affected (or not) by the production of your bars?

If not, then don't judge my choice of protein. Much better bargain.

    • You know a cheaper price for a good tasting 40g protein bar? I would seriously like to know for next time. I do realize that even without this code these were $3 each this week so 12 for $36 anyway so better than $43 but like to know if there even cheaper options around.

      • Anyone still have a stockpile of bars from the Coles clearance?

  • +1

Thanks, just made an order. Have never tried protein bars before, mostly because they are usually like 5-6$ per 100 grams. This comes out to like ~2.40 per 100, which is a fairly decent price point.

  • ordered 17 thanks mate what a bargain!

  • +3

These taste average at best in my opinion. Quest Protein Bars are the way to go.

  • +1

For the cost of just one of these bars i can make 10.
bag of quick oats, protein powder, flaxseed oil- as the base, add dried fruit, honey, cocoa… whatever for taste.

    • +8

      For a 45 gram protein content bar, You would need 2 scoops of protein per bar = 60 grams @ 80% Purity. 10 Bars X 60 = 600 grams.

1Kg of good quality protein is ~ $25 so that $15 just for the protein.

Then buy a flaxseed Oil bottle from Woolies for $9.70

      Already at $25.

Then oats, dried fruit, honey, peanut butter etc also costs money

So im just trying to workout how you came to your conclusion of 1 bar = 10 bars of homemade

    • All those ingredients plus the time to make it, plus the cost involved [electricity] and you think you'll only be set back 24c each ???

      Your dreaming!!!

      EC has basically nailed it.

    • +1

For the cost of just one of these bars i can make 10.

Where are you buying protein powder for less than $5.36/kg protein?

  • Hmm is there a reason why the code is not working for me? "Sorry, you are not eligible for this coupon promotion."

  • Yup code not working for me either. Dont tell me I'm too late?!

  • Cookies & Cream doesn't seem to be available anymore. Chocolate still good though

  • Just got an Out-Of-Stock Notification for my click and collect order
