Kicking myself now…bought it yesterday for $239 delivered :(

    • Which store? Can be returned?

    • Did the same thing …

  • I remember seeing it cheaper in the past.

    I think 130 maybe Lower.

I'm happy I have my fanatec gear, I haven't paid attention to prices lately

Trying to make myself feel good for missing out on these deals, and to justify spending $193.38 on this.

$148 delivered from Logitechshop, Dec 2013

Pricing error. Quickly changed to $250

        $152.10 + shipping from CatchOfTheDay, Jun 2012

Missed the deal revision. It was posted as $169 + shipping

$149.70 in-store (closing down sale) Dick Smith Lidcombe, Jun 2012

No chance of driving to Lidcombe and still find stock.

$139 from Dick Smith, Apr 2012

It was more a treasure hunt than a deal.

There's no point feeling bad about missing out on deals from a year or two ago when the Aussie dollar was riding high.

The current DSE sale price appears to be the cheapest at the moment, who cares if you pay a few dollars more for something that will give you years of enjoyment.

        • +5

Don't forget the $20 price error which a few people managed to get…the good old days when DSE honored their mistakes.

  • If it cheapest you've ever seen it you haven't been on ozbargain long enough :p. Saw it before and thought it was a good deal.

Have owned one in the past but sold it due to lack of use. At this price thinking of buying it again.

I bought mine for $20 from Dick Smiths during a pricing error and they honoured it. You can't beat that :)

      • Yeah $20 just the metal pedals alone cost more than that. I still regret of not driving 30mins to a store that had stocks on that day.

or 183 pick up, plus 3% cashrewards making it < 180!

tried asking in store to match the the pricing, but they wouldn't

Anyone tried any of the converters (R4, cronusmax pro or titan) to get this working on PS4? Curious to whether they work as good as they say?

  • Does anyone have any recommendations for a stand for this?

  • does the clutch actually work like the real thing can you stall in racing games ect.

    • +2

Yer… Its the best force feedback wheel at this price point.. I had one before moving to a Fanatec CSR.. Logitech was better.. Now I have the T500RS.. Pretty happy with all of them

  • But it doesn't work with ps4 :(

    • Or xboxone. I bought it back in 2012 when dse had them for $139. Used prob twice since

      • +1

You could sell it and make all your money back.

  • I bought one for $139

  • +4

Yay its sold out so I no longer have to resist the temptation to purchase!

  • 3 different people bought at least 10 lol. probably to sell on later judging by their extremely high feedback numbers.

  • Well worth it. I have had one for around a year and a half. Got it from Dick for $150 from memory. They sold out in a day.

  • I bought this online. Went to pick it up and dodgy Dicksmith tried to con me into giving me the much cheaper logitech driving force. They had a lot of stock for the driving force and almost no stock for the g27. This happened in DSE Belmont, WA. It was so obvious they were trying to con me.

  • i was regretting my purchase because of logitechs !HIDEOUS! support for not-so-recent products, so i had to go through countless posts and threads and pages, but finally found a post that worked. so i will post it here for any fellow OzBers having trouble with Windows 8.1

I just got my G27 in and had issues with games not recognizing inputs for the pedals or the shifter. I had problems like other users so I posted an account to share my experience.
I realized that I needed the Logitech Profiler, but I then ran into the problems other Win 8.1 users had. All the links on the site (Logitech Profiler page and G27 support page) lead to either software that isn't compatible with Windows 8.1 OR you get a link that opens the installer and lets you click next until it says the software is installed, but it never got installed.
SO long story short, Google led me to Youtube which provided this link. This fixed all issues, installed the Profiler properly and let's me configure my device however.

    http://www.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/joystick/lgs510_x64.…

That opens the installer like the link from the G27 support page, but it actually takes a bit to install (the other one just instantly went to the completed screen). It's hosted on logitech but I couldn't find a link on their site to this specific file which fixed all of my problems.
I tried NFS Shift 2, Assetto Corsa, Project Cars, and even Trackmania and Driver SF for fun. All worked fine with shifter, pedals, buttons, everything after I installed the 510 x64 driver.
Hope this helps at least some of you. Gotta go get good now….
