I was in David Jones' Brisbane CBD store today and had a look in the "sale" rack, next to the escalators on Level 2. I was pretty impressed by the discounts

  • Business shirts, some of which still had $129 stickers on them, down to $10. D'Urban, Industrie, Ganton, Geoffrey Beene, others I can't remember
  • A bunch of other shirts in plastic for $20, down from what looked like $80+
  • Grey "D'Urban" pants, $399 sticker down to $20 (had size EU 48)

Thought other bargainers might be interested. Good luck, first in, best dressed I suppose ;-)

    These are called Extraordinary Markdowns (the blue-stickered ones) and are across all departments.

    Also Mid-Season sale starts Tuesday (or tomorrow if you havbe a DJs AMEX or DJs Storecard).

      Are the 'Extraordinary Markdowns' likely to be priced lower in the mid-season sale? i.e. is it worth holding off until Tuesday to take a look or are the deals in the OP likely to be as good as they'll get.

        I don't think they would go lower; the prices are probably as good as you're gonna get. They started going live around Friday. I sold some $80 pitcher to a lady for $10 the other day.

        Also looks like Mid-Season sale starts today by the looks of the website.

    Thanks OP, sourced some bargains in Adelaide CBD David Jones. $10, $20 shirts down from $50-100+. Also a Steamline luggage case for $20 down from $239 (the vanity bag from here: http://www.steamlineluggage.com/product/the-correspondent-re…). They had some in red and blue & still some left for anyone reading (Men's clothing level).
