Buyer beware: It could be a bargain, but this toothbrush is very unreliable. I replaced 3 during the 2 years warranty period. Their warranty service is exceptional, however, when the warranty finish, you are on your own. The biggest problems are:
    1. The water leaks into the button.
    2. The motor stops vibrating or doesn't vibrate properly.
    - When it's working, it's a good toothbrush, comparable to Oral B. Their replacement heads are quite pricy, same as the Oral B.

    • Agree had the exact same problem with my one

    • Thanks. Got one and didn't know about those issues. Will have to keep it out of water. The heads do last for ages and it's miles better than OralB.

    • Not a sonicare, but I have had a Philips Sensa something (standard rotating brush head) and it's been bulletproof for 9 years, the only thing now is the battery is on the way out but it can still get me through a weekend away. Do you know the model of yours so we can steer clear?

    • YMMV. I have two sets of HX9332, and I use them almost everyday for two years. Haven't had a problem yet (touch wood).
As wfdTamar said, the head really last, I change mine every half a year or so.

We bought the 2 sonicare around 12 months ago. Still working, fingers crossed this does not break soon. They are so much better than Oral B. Takes less effort to clean the teeth.

    • Give it another 1-3 months :). Even the Philips kids one are more reliable comparing to their top of the range, but it broke down after 2.5 years. Unlike the Oral-B, they last forever, well, until the battery is not holding charge properly anymore. I had the oral-B, cant remember the model, the older slower model that does 7300 oscillations. I went to the Philips, yes, it is far much better. But, after I bought the oral-B PC5000 models, I reckon they have their own benefits, pro and cons. I don't want to go into too much details, PM if u are interested to know. I feel like I am trolling this thread!

  • Totally agree with junk3569. Replaced 2 over the last 2 years (under warranty) but my opinion, its worth the money. I never go back to oral b after Sonicare.

  • I don't think it has to be the pink colour only. Scoll down and it says 'Valid for:' and shows the images of three different colour SonicCare brushes.

"Between the 1st of April 2015 and the 31st of May 2015, when you purchase a Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Pink (HX9362/67), Philips Sonicare DiamondClean (HX9332/04), Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Black (HX9352/04), Philips Sonicare AirFloss Pink (HX8221/02) OR Philips Sonicare AirFloss (HX8111/06) from a participating Bing Lee, David Jones, Harris Scarfe, Harvey Norman, Malouf Pharmacy, Myer, Target OR The Good Guys store as outlined in the Terms and Conditions, you can claim the eligible cash back amount as listed in the below table."

It seems ShaverShop is also included, as when you click 'find retailer' it brings up SS and the cashback is mentioned on their website for all colours, not just pink.

  • So who is selling the cheapest one?

    • bing lee at 249 (before cashback) i think…..

      • I picked up one of these last year for 20 buck from a big W sale, surely there are some under 100

        • You didn't pick up the models spoken about here for 20 bucks

        • @digitalane: no but the title says "Philips Sonicare" and it's definitely one of those
