Get Your $20 Co-Op Bookshop Membership Cancelled & Fee Refunded

1920

Finished uni and no longer need to buy textbooks from the Co-op? Even when I was at uni, I found that even with the Co-op "discount", other online bookshops were cheaper.

If it's been at least 2 years since you first joined, you're entitled to have your membership cancelled and your fee refunded - this was $20 if I recall correctly, but the fee now is $25.

Forgotten your member number? No problem - see here: http://www.coop.com.au/profile/account/membercheck/

    Hi guys,
Just letting you know that the $30 voucher deal has now expired.
If you applied for the voucher before the deal was taken down, you will receive an e-mail with a voucher code in the next few couple business days.
If you have any troubles, please shoot us an e-mail at [email protected]

  • When are the cheques being sent out?

  • Great news. Hope to be re-united with my $20 after 7 years.

This offer must have expired. They now refuse to refund your membership fee if you cancel. I tried :(

      Hi Tom,

Just give Co-op (I just did) and told them that they are breaching the contract T&C that you signed up for the membership (which stated that membership fees are refundable).

They will give you the money back. :)

      Hope this helps.

      • It did help, THANK YOU!

To anyone else still reading this, it works. It took them a while to respond to my request but now I just sit back and wait for the money to roll in.

  • I replied I'd want my money back instead of $30 voucher a month ago. Anybody got refund successfully?

    • Almost forgot about this. Never received my cheque. What a fraud!

      • Sent an inquiry and apparently the cheque's just going out this week, if not next - using their words

  • Couldn't believe my eyes when I got a letter from Co-op today. Opened it up and its real… a cheque for $20!!!

Better bank it before it bounces…

  • Received my $20 cheque in the mail today.

  • Got my cheque today, $15. I almost feel bad for them but… nope… feels good. Full credit to them for their customer service.
