Excellent prices for the WPI Nutrients Direct. Where is your protein sourced from? America, NZ or China?

    • which is best?

      • New Zealand is excellent.

    • Hi Mate. Our whey for WPI is sourced from New Zealand :)

  • What sweetener is used in these products?

    • Hi and thanks for your query.
All ingredients, including sweeteners are listed on our site under each product.
We do have a Naturals Range which is naturally sweetened! Please view here: http://www.nutrientsdirect.com.au/naturals.html

Hope that answers your question and look forward to having you shop with us soon.

      Cheers,
      Team ND

      • I could not find where you actually list the ingredients in the proteins apart from a general account in the description.

        • +1

Ingredients are all listed in the 'nutritional info' tab next to the 'product details' tab Sam :)
Let us know if you have further trouble locating.

Shame this deal is only available for 1kg… not worth the trouble for 1kg, with $12 shipping

    • +1

well i suppose they are trying to do some business by selling other products as well. as OP said, you get free shipping if u buy some other stuff

      • Once you taste the 1kg you it will be worth the trouble! :) You'll be ordering 10kg soon after!
We hear you viewpoint and understand the shipping can be a burden for you. In saying that, we offer our unique and exclusive loyalty program called Muscle Money where you will earn free MM$ which can then be used to purchase more product! So you will also earn some MM$ with this order of yours. You could also add a shaker to your order and a couple other supplements to further maximise your results. Please feel free to email us: [email protected] to discuss what other supplements are right for you.

Bottom line - we promise the $12 shipping will be a wise investment long term :)

    Results:
The odds ratio (OR) for ever use of MBSs (Muscle building supplements) in relation to risk of TGCC(testicular germ cell cancer) was significantly elevated (OR=1.65, 95% confidence interval (CI): 1.11–2.46). The associations were significantly stronger among early users, men with more types of MBSs used, and longer periods of use.

    Conclusions:
MBS use is a potentially modifiable risk factor that may be associated with TGCC.

    • LOL. Excess protein is not a great idea but this study is a ridiculous headline grabber.

      http://suppversity.blogspot.hu/2015/04/will-muscle-building-…

      • probably true, but I'm not sure 'Dr' Adel Moussa is the best source of information

    • The study in question was a population based case control study, which if you spend 15 seconds reading Wikipedia you will find that:

"Case-control studies are observational in nature and thus do not provide the same level of evidence as randomized controlled trials. "

While they may find correlation, this is not the same as causation; which is why the conclusion is correctly worded - "may be associated"

My 2 cents - the artificial colors/flavors/sweeteners/preservatives are probably the greater risk to your health.

If you want to be pedantic use a naturally or unflavored mix of rice and pea protein, eliminating the health risks of whey and artificial additives.

      • indeed…. the article points out…

Future large epidemiologic studies and lab experiments would be necessary to establish a causal link between supplements and testicular cancer.

  • creatine is allowed in the olympics as it is found in food.

    • hmm.. replied before you edited….

    • and its one of the few supplements that actually works :)

  • Hi Rep - Given the insane amount of supplement stores popping up lately, it would be nice to have 3rd party verification of your products not just your advertising material. Do you have independent lab tests supporting the amino acid profile and content of your proteins? Given the recent controversy with amino spiking it would be nice to see.

    • We totally agree with you. Thats why we have made mention of our Lab Reports in the above offer! Is this what you are referring to? All our products are made in accordance with Australian quality assurance standards including Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), adhering to all Australian food manufacturing standards. Hope that is enough reassurance for you.

  • Just bought 5kg scitec nutrition 100% Whey strawberry for $150. Taste awesome. But I guess I paid too much.

    • Your sure did pay too much! Next time give us a go! Ours tastes awesome.

  • doesnt apply to wpi natural? I tried save40 with natural and it didnt work but works with chocolate.

    • Unfortunately not on special for the Naturals range at this point in time.
