Nice timing, I stupidly broke my kitchen shears the other day (NB: best not to ever use them as secateurs I've concluded) so once I grab a set of the mundials those chicken carcasses can once again be afraid to go back in the kitchen! :)

The mundial kitchen shears are nice - might get some for that price to replace the ones I bought from IKEA
$6 for the maglite is a nice deal.
Yeah i think so too, but i'm surprised the normal price is only $16, would have thought it be more. Which makes it the least reduced item of them all.
I'm thinking of getting the shears and the sharpener at least.
A word of caution - unless I'm reading the promo wrong, seems stocks are very limited. None of the products on sale hare more than 100 units available. Looks like the knife block only has 50 units. If you really want any of the sale items I think you should get there as early as possible.
I don't know what it was like at other stores or online, but the previous sale in august I rocked up at the northland store (victoria) at about 10am and they still had plenty of each sale item.
I highly recommend the kitchen shears.
Could it be that those are the quantities for online purchase only? Store stock will vary per store.

According to the link the sale doesn't start until the weekend, however the website allows you to order any of these items now. I ordered two of the Mundial kitchen scissors yesterday, one for me, one for someone else. I haven't received a confirmation nor a dispatch notice so who knows what the real deal is.
I just ordered two Maglite online, I figure it is a nice little Christmas present. However I probably should have tried my luck at the store first, to save on postage (which was $5). I'm just a bit confused on the actual quantities that they might have at the stores tomorrow!

Was at Northland store this morning and the lines were wuite long. There were plenty of stock of everything!
Slept in a bit more than planned so there was a bit of a line (and slow moving) when I got there. Only really interested in the maglites and they sold out to the person 2 in front. Spewing.
So on the way home I dropped into Supercheap and picked up their 3 pack of 9 LED torches for $10. They are good too!
Went to Indooroopilly and Garden City Westfields in Brisbane Sat arvo, all sold out of the shears and the maglights. :(
Picked up the knife sharpener, and 2 little torch keyrings for $3 each. Oh well, you snooze you lose.
maglight is a good deal, bought one in the last sale. just a tiny little light running on a single AAA battery. Its good for short walks/finding the keyhole etc
