  I appreciate you posting deal here, but places like JB Hifi have ex demo and clearance models at different times that are alot cheaper than your prices.

        When I click through to the "~$5-6 more" links, they all give prices $1,748.88. Maybe the Shopbot price is excluding GST?

      It certainly is the cheapest, but I question now the after sales service due to poor diplomatic handling of a potential customer's statement.

      Asus models vary quite considerably even for the same model. To compare more accurately, use the full spec number. N550JK specifies aluminium body, IPS display, touch panel and keyboard. The CPU will be either i7 4700HQ or an i5 4200H, monitor is HD or IPS FHD. Graphics is either integrated HD 4600 or GTX850M. As you can easily see, just using N550JK for price comparison is useless. http://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/N550JK/specificatio…

      The extra specification number CN453H implies that it's a Full HD monitor and will lock in the CPU as well.

      Additionally, you would need to check the RAM quantity matches, because some retailers would sell Asus with added RAM. However, I checked a few shops such as scorptec and see that the Australian stock all has 16GB RAM.

        @CVonV: Asus really fails on this one. Touch screen shows up on some CN453H, but not on the OP's. So either OP is selling a laptop without knowing its full specifications, or the full model number is insufficient for comparison.
