Finally, a legitimate reason to rock the Pedobear onesie.

    • I need to find a Chris Hanson outfit now.

Walk in with your Superman undies

  • lol they really need to come up with an original promotion - this is lifted straight from Boost juice
but props to them for going to the effort of getting their brand awareness up

can I dress up as Hulk?
    find some ripped pants

  • +16

If you're Asian you can say that you're dressed up as Hiro Nakamura from Heroes (time travelling guy). He wears normal clothes so you're already dressed up.

    • +4

      All Heroes look the same….

  • +2

Nice, but why doesn't this mention the following promotion on the same day also:

On Tuesday 28th April 2015 we are helping you say “Thank you” to your real-life hero by offering a Buy one Get one Dozen Free offer on that day only. Simply sign up on our Facebook page before the 28th April to receive your unique ‘Hero Appreciation Day’ discount code which will be e-mailed to you on Monday 27th April. Use this code in-store or online to redeem the offer. See our terms and conditions for the details.

A free donut is sweet but getting 2 dozen for the price of 1 is even sweeter…maybe too sweet!

    • Aww… I'm my own real life hero! Seriously!

If I could reveal my real identity you'd be shocked at who I am.

    • Inb4 "only at participating stores" BS policy.

  • Advertising free Krispy Kremes, then saying "N/A in SA" makes me very sad. Get my hopes up then tear them to shreds and make me choke on it.

  • +4

I'll dress up as Broden. Just need 10 PS3 boxes.

    • +2

Broden ain't no super-hero… More of an anti-hero. grrr.

  • Another useless offer unless you have a KK store in your hood. We only have 7/11 or BP Travel Centre …… DOH!

    • Twelve months ago the entire western third of the country didn't have access to Krispy Kremes…

    • +2

rather have a KK store in my hood than a KKK Store.

  • I wonder if I can go after work with my suit & glasses on and say "shhh.. My name is Clark Kent (aka superman)" to claim my free donut.

    • That may get you one. If you want the full dozen, you'll probably need to put more effort in! :)

      • The terms and conditions do not state that you need to be donning your superhero outfit.

    • Wear the shirt underneath then you're really Clark Kent with a whole box of free crispy kremes and your dignity intact (well, whatever any ozbargainer has left … Did someone say free?! eyes dart back and forth searching for the goods)

  • any one in brisbane city wanna go half?(box each?)

  • +1

    Dressed as Gus. :D

    • But he is a super villain.

      • He makes the best fried chicken though, even though he threatened to kill my infant daughter.

        • +1

I'll call Mr Salamanca, don't you worry.

  • Can't wait till Tuesday.

Just got the coupon code in my email. It seem pretty generic:
    HERODAY15
Use your discount code in-store or online to redeem the buy any dozen and get a FREE Original Glazed® Dozen offer on Tuesday 28th April only.

  • The Krispy Kreme website doesn't seem to be working when I try to order - it fails to load.

    • It's back up but won't allow usage of the code until tomorrow. Boo!

      • Thanks for clarifying!

        • And tomorrow has arrived and I still can't use the code yet. Whatttttttttttttttttt?

        • +2

Ok it seems instead of entering in the one dozen and applying the code (which doesn't work), you need to enter in two dozen and then apply the code, as it charges only for one. Too confusing for my simple mind! Now the problem is that I can't do a same day store pick-up order…what!?

        • +1

@ensanguined: Thanks for the tips, kind of weird.

  • Has anyone gotten Krispy Kremes delivered before? If you're not home, do they leave them at your doorstep? If so, how are they packaged? Worried about ants getting in etc.

    • +1

Had some delivered once before. Normal Krispy Kreme box is placed within another sturdy box, but I will admit that my box must have been tossed around a little as the doughnuts were a little squashed and the box was damaged on one side, so the poor doughnuts on that end took a good beating. Am trying one more time using this deal though, so I wish us both luck! I left a note in my order that they can leave it on my doorstop also, though I can't imagine something edible being redelivered the next day or going to an Australia Post…right? I hope not!

      • +1

Would be really funny to get doughnuts carded to the post office. Somehow I don't think Auspost are doing the deliveries!
        Just put my order through.

  • +1

Just bought BOGOF in store this morning. The lady was nice to give me an extra free donut without dressing up as a superhero too.

  • Does it count having a tshirt with superman logo back and front?

  • Thanks OP. Was great altho wouldn't let me use drive through, had to walk into store :( For a BOGOF dozen
    I could be bothered!

  • Anyone able to PM me the email for KK?

  • I'm a little bit pissed my donuts didn't get delivered today.
