    4TB WD Elements - $180 at MSY

    So same thing for $7.71 more, and can walk in store to get it (At least 1 store in most states has stock showing)

    For those that care, these are the extras on the My Book:
    * WD SmartWare Pro
    * Acronis True Image WD Edition
    * Password protection and hardware encryption

    • Cheapest I've seen was $167.24 or two for $250 (delivered)

      WD 3.5" 4TB Elements is not the same drive as Amazon are selling. It's the older model.

        And…? Both have a WD Green inside.

        • -1

          No and. Point out it's just not the same.

        • @willoz:

          I clearly put on my first comment what the differences were. There's no hardware differences, no connection differences, no speed differences.

      Shipping to OZ is approx $7.00 to $11.00 USD I was unable to get exact cost without actually buying this product!!! and was not able to get the price without actually paying for it first.

      Free shipping is for US only:

      Do one of the following:

      To place the order using the shopping cart:
          Proceed to checkout.

          **Ship your items to a single U.S. address in one of the 50 states.**

          Select Group my items into as few shipments as possible as your shipping preference.
          Select FREE Shipping as your shipping speed.

        You can get shipping price without committing, that's how I got the total price.

        • it is listed at

          Price: $138.34

          and you the listing states 132.81 delivered

          but how can that be if the price is 138.34 plus the 7 to 11 dollars shipping to OZ?

          @BeckySue1018:

          Ever thought the price had changed since the deal was posted?

  • These are WD green drives internally ye?

  • Does the AC adapter work here in Australia? If not, it'd be cheaper to get it from MSY.

  • Just for the people that are interested. I've found out the hard way that WD has the worst return (RMA) service ever. You have to ship your Australian (Perth) bought defective items to Malaysia. The whole process takes about 6 weeks.

    • +1

      If you bought it in Perth, return it to the retailer. You should never have to go to the manufacturer under Australian consumer law.

      • Even so, all the retailer will do is send it away for you (prehaphs getting lost in the process), taking the same amount of time, if not longer.

    delivered free is in the US only not to OZ!!!! not a good deal

    • I'm guessing you've never shopped on Amazon before then?

      • -2

        I have and noticed that the shipping cost makes most things the same price as if purchased from OZ either via internet or in local shops.

  • -2

    Wonder why my comment about the shipping got 4 negative votes? Shipping through Amazon is not cheap to Australia. Think it must of been people associated with Amazon that voted my comment to be hidden….

    • Because you can get shipping price before committing to buy. You're either misinformed or don't know how to use Amazon.

      • idiot, yes of course you can get shipping price before committing but the item is listed as 132.81 delivered and that is bull malarky!! as you have to pay extra to ship to OZ!!!

        • -1

          The purchase price has changed since the deal was posted, simple.

        • -1

          @BeckySue1018
          "yes of course you can get shipping price before committing but the item"

          "unable to get exact cost without actually buying this product!!!"

          Yet you're calling others idiots?
