80

Hey Guys,

Whilst browsing for the cheapest place to buy some Wii U games i stumbled across these! As anyone with a Wii U will know, it seems to be impossible to find flagship games on special (Mario, Donkey Kong, Zelda etc.) All the games bellow are @ EBGames and are available online(+postage) or pickup and are at $57, cheapest i can find anywhere!

Super Mario 3D World
New Super Mario Bros. U
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
LEGO City: Undercover
LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
The Wonderful 101

Hopefully someone else finds as much use in this as i did.

New Super Mario Bros. U is cheaper here.

    • its out of stock there

        • And 8 weeks delivery, that is if they do deliver at all and don't just cancel after they've had your money months.

@Where's_That_Cake: I've bought games from blockbuster before. The longest I've had to wait is about two weeks. 8 weeks is nuts. Did you contact them about it?

        • @lucksmith: I've waited for longer then a month so it all varies.

        • @lucksmith: Happened to me twice, I had to make a PayPal claim last time as they wanted me to take store credit.

  • Blockbuster and OzGameShop both have Mario bros u and donkey kong:TF in stock cheaper. Lego city cheaper at Ozgameshop if you use the code "5OFFOZ". Wondeful 101 also cheaper at OGS, even more using the above code, some bigw's might still have some around for $40 in the 'drop zone' sale. Zavvi and Blockbuster also have Lego Batman 3 cheaper.

    • Australian stock?

      • Blockbuster and Zavvi will both be imported. OGS i think usually sell aus stock these days, some may be imports though.

the minimal saving from importing isn't worth it for two reasons. 1: the time spent waiting for it in the post and going to the post office etc, and 2: when and if you resell it, the AU cover will be get you a better price

      • Anything less than $10 savings i agree, not so much more if it's more than $10 savings, but that's a personal preference. If you wanted it now then easily pick EB but that's up to each person really. AU cover will get you a better price but i can't imagine by much, barely a difference between the AU and EU cover really. the game is still the same.

  • W 101 is $40 @ Bigw if you can find stocks.

  • Just in case anyone's looking for the latest Amiibo wave, I saw a bunch of Wario and Charizard left in Big W Southland today.

    • Everyone else took the good amiibos.

Looking into my crystal ball, I expect Wario to be easily available at any time. Charizard however is 50/50 - but not like Pikachu. The electric rat can be found at all retailer.

Wow, finally a decent eb games deal, well done op and eb games alike. Hopefully the start of many.

Shipping is free guys, just add the code: starlight2015

  • I grabbed tropical freeze from eb in the 2 for 90 preowned deal with a 2 for 40 game.

These are great prices for some of the best games in the world. Nintendo exclusives are truly amazing. Super Mario 3D World is particularly great for kids (of all ages). I might pick up Wind Waker (for my 5 year old).
