Bissell 1047F Airram Vacuum Cleaner $246 + Free Pickup/ $20 Delivery @ Harvey Norman

10

Bissell 1047F air ram stick vacuum. In store was listed for $350, online price was honoured. Comes with 30 day money back guarantee through the manufacturer.

Online reviews seem fairly good. Have been watching for a good Dyson deal on a stick vacuum and saw this and thought I might give it a go and if it turns out to be a bad product, return it.

  • I think you need to edit your post to include 'stick vacuum' who would even guess this given your title is bissell air ram, i assumed it was computer RAM

Have I missed something overnight? Unless this is a guarantee that after 30 days, the unit is free, I can't see what is being offered. A 30 "change of mind" policy may be a deal. A 30 day guarantee only escapes being a suggestion that after that you'll not be able to return a defective unit by virtue of being so far from consumer law it would be ridiculous. I realise you are just echoing the bumph that HN wrote, OP, but it is a strange offer in such a consumer led forum :-p
It reads like a free trial - but many here have had fun with warranty returns at some HN stores. it would be interesting to see the "conditions" that apply, seeing as they are not framing this as a free trial.

I got one a while back from the Bissell outlet direct (currently $189 delivered http://www.bisselloutletstore.com.au/#/product/451). Damaged box, but otherwise brand new. Also got a spare battery but that deal seems finished.

Replaced an old Dyson. Not perfect - doesn't have a powerful vacuum and the dirt container is small… But it is light, easy to use, battery lasts for ages (so that spare battery has never been used) and it does seem to clean well, so overall we're happy with it. The vacuum even has a usb port for programming (eg adjusting the power settings to suck more/less to reduce/increase noise or battery life) and accessing usage info - but sadly you can't get the special cable here in Australia.
