[Gold Coast] 50% off Seafood Buffet at Terraces Restaurant (Sheraton Mirage)

660

Restaurant is at the Sheraton Mirage, 71 Seaworld Drive (along the spit, not far from Seaworld).
50% off deal is valid for bookings made via Dimmi, by 4/5, for lunch and dinner sessions until 9/6 (excludes 10/5 & 8/6, and Saturday dinners).

I'm told normal prices are:
Lunch $64 Mon-Fri / $79 Sat-Sun
Dinner $79 Sun-Thu / $85 Fri-Sat

Urbanspoon rating is currently 82% from 92 votes. FWIW I've been there once myself in Aug 2013 on another deal (less of a discount) and enjoyed it.

  • This place is excellent. Best buffet I've had in QLD so far.

  • +2

Buffet is not as good as it once was.

    Good deal tho

    Marriott buffet is better.

    • Will give that a go next time thanks for the tip.

You need to try Bazaar at QT Hotel Surfers… Amazeballs.

      • Agreed. It was rated best on the coast at one stage I think?

        • So true
Sheraton buffet was a lot better many moons ago

      • I second that. Prefer it to Sheraton although I like both.

Is the produce sourced from Seaworld next door?

  • I made a booking and expected to make a payment online, but it doesn't take you to a payment page? Does anyone know if this is something we'll have to pay upon arrival then?

    • +2

It's just the booking. You pay when you get there.

    • +1

Pay when you are there and they will take 50% off, also make sure you leave a review and share your booking if you do every 3 /4 bookings you will get $50 free

      • what do you mean by $50 free? & where should i leave the review?

So after you dine you can leave a review, and when you book share the booking, you get points, every 8000 points you get $50 off your next booking.

  • I've only done a few of these buffets, and only when I had access to a decent discount, so a question for l005e, thebargainhunter, and anyone else who might have the requisite experience to comment:

How does this (roughly $30-40 at 50% off) compare to Marriott / Bazaar / any other contenders (guesstimating roughly $70-80+ at full price)? Which gives you the best bang for buck?

    • +1

Being part of the hotel club for Marriott gets you 50% off there Buffets

Bazaar is amazing but have never seen a deal for it

      • +2

I just registered for hotel club and can't find anything regarding discount to their Warren Buffet…

        • +1

you need to wait for them to come in the mail

don't know how it works but we usually get one every 3 months or so

  • There is no Saturday dinners available on this site.

    • That's clearly listed in the times that are available for booking. Saturday lunches only for the 50% off special.

    • I've updated the post to spell this out.

  • What are the kids' prices? I have a 1 and 3 year old. I can't see any information on kids' prices on the website. Thanks!

    • There's no information on adults prices either. I rang them on 07 5577 0156 to find that out. You can do the same for the kids prices info.

  • Didn't think buffet was that good. Lacks variety

  • Feeling gutted, why do good deals just keep comming right after I left Gold Coast?

    • To give you incentive to go back?

  • Is there any good seafood buffet deal in Brisbane?

  • I had buffet here the other day with a shop a docket (bogof). Best buffet I had in australia was up in darwin. All you can eat mud crabs with claws the size of my hand! For 40 $ too!

  • There is a BOGOF for legends / fables on shopadocket.com.Au . not as nice as the others but still great for a Sunday nite feast once a month after starving yourself all day.

  • Fishy

  • Thanks! Going to try it out for lunch today. Hoping it is as good as I remember! :)

    • Let us know how it goes. Booked in for Saturday lunch next weekend.

      • +1

It was quite good. Not the best I've had, but still good. Service was great. Definitely worthwhile for 1/2 price IMO

  • Just returned from lunch. I'm stuffed! Food and service were both great.

    • Was the discount automatically applied, it did you need to prompt the staff?
