This watch is shipped free within Australia & New Zealand with a 5 year warranty from Citizen (Australia)

          Never say never again. The Australian currency may go up to match US dollar again in the future, and when Citizen releases new range of watches to replace the current range, the prices may drop again. Anyway I am happy to have bought one from you. Beautiful watch. Nice colour combo of light tan, brown (with my NATO strap on), black and tint of red, giving it an archaeological look. If I wear a leather jacket, put on a brown hat and carry a leather-bound notebook, I might resemble Indiana Jones :P

      Thanks. The strap will be suitable for an 8" wrist. Unfortunately the warehouse is closed today to check the exact length of the strap.

        The canvas strap at its largest setting is 176mm long. http://i.imgur.com/ygiMlpY.jpg

        Including 45mm for the case gives a circumference of 221mm, or 8.7 inches.

      Hmm 8" wrist is huge. I got my original strap removed from the watch and just measured it. The strap (when attached to the last hole) is about 6" long, and the clock is about 2" from one string-bar to the other one, so I think it will be a very tight fit for your wrist.

        Just measured my BM8475 and that measures 24cm or roughly just over 9". To date, atleast I have not come across anyone who has not been able to fit the BM8475 which I expect is the same as this one.

          Just checking, did you measure yours with the strap attached to its last hole, or just the length of the entire strap?
          Edit: Slight correction to my above measurement. The attached strap (not including the watch face) is about 6.5" long, not 6".

      Otherwise you can alway change the strap. I also just measured my leather NATO strap on the watch face, it's about 9.5" long.

      This model was withdrawn last year after a Swiss co complained about the similarity of the colour of the band. Citizen had to ship all the stock back. We had only received trial quantities of around 20 or so and they all sold out. Some others may still have stock but we are completely sold out. Sorry

    Assembled in China with a Japanese movement. Other than a selected range Promasters and a smattering of a few models, most of these are cased in China. When I was in Basel, having a chat to a Swiss watch co Director, he was telling me that he would do more manufacturing in China if he could. They send their staff to China to learn about manufacturing best practice. Chinese manufacturing is on par with the best.

    Hi I noticed that leather bands will stink when you sweat compared to those metal bracelet watches. This is watch able to change bands for bracelets?

      Hello. We don't deal in bands or other parts so not too sure. Please take the watch to your closest watchmaker and he will be able to answer better. I wear mine with a nato strap and don't have that problem. Hope that helps. Thanks
