I signed up for the $70 red plan with a 32gb S6. Its got 3gb of data and i got it for $65/month.

Works out to about $30/Month for unlimmited calls/texts and 3GB. Personally I'd pay the extra $13/Month and get an extra 6GB/Month data (good for data pigs!)

    • how did you get that price?

    • Me too, would like to know how to get Red plan $70 for $65 per month with S6

      • I called up and had a good chat. I said Optus would be able to do the same thing as they can give me $10 discount for home internet and 6 month netflix. Now ive got 6 months of Stan.

  • Good to see VF are keeping up with data usage…great data inclusion.

    • The "4GB + 4GB + 1GB" graphic seems to suggest it drops, first, to 8 GB, later to just 4GB, ie, with the passage of time…? What am I missing?

PS How is fast/reliable Voda's N/W these days?

      • Double the data: 4GB * 2 but an additional 1GB = 9GB

I find it more reliable than Optus but their usage updates sucks so much. (They didn't even tell me they added on a data add on on my last billing day…when the app said I had 70+mb left)

      • Depends on where you live. If you live away from a capital city it isn't too good. I get 2 mb/s on vf, optus ~ 50 mb/s, and Telstra I've managed 94 mb/s on a good day. I found vf to drop out a lot more often than the other two.

There's a ~6-7 week wait from placing your order to receiving it.

They should really let people know before they get right to the end of the sign up process.

  • Can I sell the phone once I get it? Can it be unlocked right away or need to wait a few months before being un-lockable? Years ago some of the providers had some special T&C that you need to wait for a few months to unlock the handset. Not bad deal though.

    • Already unlocked but it will receive updates via Vodafone (when Vodafone approves them).

  • If only they'd do this deal with the new iPhone 6s in October. Here's to hoping!
