As author of the previous post i have had my wallet for a month or so. I can tell you that it is pretty brilliant. I haven't had it for enough time to question its wear, but it is holding up just fine. Strongly suggest buying one.
I've had my Bellroy (Note Sleeve) since September 2013. There is some slight scuffing of the colour on some corners but it is still going strong with daily use, no fraying of stitching, no warping, etc. The build quality on these is impressive, and the design is fantastic. Also strongly suggest buying a Bellroy, design is up to personal preference.

I only had mine for a year, daily use. I wear jeans mostly. It lives in any of the pockets which is empty. There's quite a bit of wear on the high spots but I think it tapers off after a while. It was quite disappointing(I paid full price) but I got used to it after a while it stop wearing out. The leather is very soft and supple very nice to hold. It isn't as slim when you have fill it up. For $35.98 I think it's bloody good deal.
How many cards can you fit in this wallet?

How do they compare to Slimmys (etc). I've had a couple slim wallets and the slimmy has been the best so far.
bellroy leather is really high quality, its almost similar in softness to oroton's leather.

Pay the extra and get the softshell, i like the ORIGINAL too. Holds 12+ cards in comfort in my back pocket (you have to check its actualy their its so slim)

When you said 12+ cards, is that the original or the micro? I'm liking the micro but I have 14 cards all up but the original just seems way too big IMO.
original holds 8-14 cards. the softshell is better in that the standard one the slots are easy streached a little and cards slide out. Otherwise its awesome!
The softshell has more grip on cards and wares even better, and so slim (even with it loaded up) you will spend a lot of time patting your self down until you get used to not feleing a wallet in your back pocket.
Softshell is best. The Tyvek will be old and nasty in one week. The Tyvek will end up in the bin quickly. I have both very happy with softshell. Unfortunately Slimfold stitching is poor and amateurish.
email them if unhappy. the after customer service is great! but i agree the Tyvek isnt as good, it wares (but lasts). Cant fault the design and the softshell is much better and is way better than the belroy!!! And by a margin too
