    Not bad 🤔

    Avoid.

The main compartment is held by snap magnets and it pops open very easily.

    • Only when you overflow. But general use case, it's fine.

In my case even just having the bag comfortably full the main flap could open with a light jolt. If you packed lightly and don't expect to handle it roughly it might be okay but for 79$ having a bag that might open if you are not careful that isn't acceptable imo.

        • Hmm fair. It is annoying.

I'm waiting for a "Bellroy" from Aliexpress. Pay the price they want for a cheap nylon bag is crazy imo.

    • Check out Aer on Aliexpress

I'm not in the market but have seen some comparisons on reddit.

Looks like overruns but some parts are different. 99% of the quality for half the price.

        • Yes - it would appear that way :)

        • What does overruns mean?

    • I tried an AliExpress Bellroy Tokyo. Used it in light rain and noticed my palms were "tinted". I believe from the two backpack straps.

Mostly can't tell the difference except that the backpack straps feels less rigid.

Seems to be available at other stores also, though stock is very limited - you can check online for stock but can buy in store only.

    • How do you check this, I can't get the 'Bellroy Melbourne' to come up anywhere on the Officeworks website.

Seems they have since been removed from the website. I can no longer find them either.

In Blacktown, surprised that they aren't all stolen yet. Yes I grew up there…

      ha… ha…. ha….

    • It's not Tommy or Ck, the brands these thugs know of.

      • +2

Funny thing is, Tommy and CK are shite.

  • Has anybody bought the Aer backpack from Ali express and are they genuine as I’m thinking of getting one.
    Thanks in advance.
