Sweet! How goes the brewover project? Are we still on track for delivery this month?

    • +1

yeh, now that we are over 22% into May I'd love to hear an update about shipping time as well!

      • +1

Thanks Guys, Production finished on everything and Brewover is currently being warehoused in China. We hit a small delay as we had to make a minor alteration to the valve tolerance and silicone bung which knocked us back slightly and meant we had to amend design files and make new moulds for this part. This is a little frustrating but I suppose it can only be expected to hit a couple speed bumps along the way and making sure that the final product is polished and to a the expected standards is very important to us.

As soon as the improved valves are ready in the next 2-3 weeks then it will just be a case of assembling and packing and shipping a batch by sea to Australia. This will take about 3-4 weeks.

At this stage it's looks more like the end of June before fulfillment takes place.

You will be able to see Brewover being used in the Worlds Richest Barista Competition in Brisbane in a couple of weeks time on 24th-25th May as it is being used for one of the categories ;-) and we will also be there showcasing and brewing on Brewover for everyone

I'll be posting out an update shortly to let everyone know of the slight delay ;-)

    Hi OP,

Looks like I will need you to lodge a complaint to auspost (this is one of the reasons i stopped ordering) as they have left my package in front of the block of units (for the 2nd or 3rd time now, seemingly only for mannabean deliveries) and this time it has been stolen.

$60 gone. It says delivered, but there is nothing there and no Slip. Therefore I assume they left the package in front of the entrance to the block, like before, and it was stolen.

I am about to call them but from memory, only senders can lodge complaints.

    • +2

The sweet smell of coffee is a dead giveaway there's something delicious in there. Maybe the postie just took it for themselves?

    • Hi Toshin, Sorry to hear that! It's better to correspond by email mate as they are monitored more vigilantly. I'll look into it and get back to you via email.

If you have a rogue delivery driver working your area and a possible neighbour who likes free coffee it may be worth shipping to work address for future orders!?

Don't worry I'll look after you on this occasion and I'll open a dispute with Aus Post as the driver shouldn't leave the package without an authority to leave having been requested!

      • +2

        Hi,

Give me tonight to look into it before lodging any complaint.

Did some investigation myself. Apparently someone in the block named 'wang' signed for it (according to auspost).
Except I don't really know anyone well, nor have I told them to do this.

        • +1

Thanks Toshin, no problem. Check with Mr Ker tonight and if he doesn't have it I'll send you some more coffee ;-)

        • @mannabeans:

Ok so a neighbor signed for it as auspost were going to leave it outside. Forgot to let me know yesterday.

Still, not the best idea just leaving it outside the security block door from auspost - was lucky in the past but eventually someones taking it.
