Not the exactly same product but, isn't this a better deal?

  • I'm currently testing out the Teclast X80HD which seems to have the same specs and is about $10 cheaper. It's pretty impressive so far.

  • Shame cameras are not better especially front 0.3 is not good enough for skype.

  • how is its battery life? anybody who owns one could pls answer

  • I want to use the tablet to take notes…. Like a diary… Can someone advise if this one can do it for me and which stylus I should buy.

    • normal capacitive screens are not usually very good for stylus/handwriting use. you'd want to spend a bit more for something with an active stylus like the Note 8.0 or something

  • Good review here:
    http://www.gizchina.com/2015/02/16/onda-v820w-dual-boot-chea…
"Our advice: If you look for the cheapest dual-boot tablet available, go for the $113 16GB version of the Onda V820W. If you however consider the 32GB version and thus are willing to spend a little more money, you should also have a look at the Teclast X80H, which is the same tablet but with a metal back and a larger battery but with a little higher price-tag."

  • I had bought Asus zenfone 2 from them with 4GB ram but when Mobile was delivered it had 2GB ram. It took 15 days to deliver with DHL. Vendor is highly unreliable cannot trust what they are saying and what they are offering.

  • check if it's glass screen or plastic I have a teclast x89 and its glass previous dual boot Intel was plastic screen

  • Took the plunge and bought one last night. Was under $120 all up.

Will comment on what it's like…

  • For anyone interested..

I bought this on Monday and paid for DHL shipping ($10). I had it in my hands on thursday, so was pretty happy with that.

The tablet is pretty good. It works as it should but it is pretty tricky using Windows on such a small tablet.
The screen is good and the touch works well even without calibrating. Brightness is also great.
Battery life is decent but this would all depend on your settings. In real world conditions, you should expect 4-5 hours of constant use in Windows. I have not used Android much yet.
There is a bit of Chinese text in some of the context screens (shut down, popups etc) but not really an issue.
The speaker is a bit lack luster but acceptable.
Charging is excellent. 2.5a charger supplied with AU adapter. The tablet charged from 40% to 100% in under an hour..

The switching from one OS to another takes approx 40secs to 1 minute. It was slower than i thought and had seen in videos but not really something that you'd too much.
It also seems as if both OS have a 50/50 (16gb) split of the 32gb on board.

Windows speed is good. I have installed a few apps (uTorrent, VLC, WinRAR, Office etc) and these all work perfectly and without and speed issues.

I originally wanted the Telcast X89 but bought this as it was $80 cheaper. I don't think i care enough about the differences to bother me. For $130 delivered, this is an extremely capable and solid tablet.

Would recommend to anyone who is thinking about buying one. If you have any questions about it, let me know..

    • Does it have wifi-direct and capable of mirroring screen to TV via chrome cast? In another word does it have cast screen function?

      • Yes, there is a Wi-Fi Direct option in the Wi-Fi menu. Also, under Display there is "Cast Screen". Unfortunately i could not find my Chomecast with it. Not too sure about Android functionality as have rarely used it..
