Tell Coles Survey and New Coles Forum

I was doing my regular Tell Coles survey during the week and decided to answer the full survey instead of stopping the survey as early as possible.

The variable question section of the survey discussed fruit and vegetables and asked about where I purchased my fruit and vegetables. It also asked for opinions on prices and quality and factors that influenced where I shopped.

Just before the end of the survey I was invited to join a forum run by Coles which sounds like it has a rewards system tied to it. I said yes to the invitation and gave them my email address using the same address I use for my flybuys account.

I haven't heard anything from them yet so I don't know much about the forum and the rewards.

Did anyone else who did the full Tell Coles survey get this invitation? Was it random or was it based on giving a specific set of answers to the multiple choice questions?

I'm hoping the forum rewards involve either Coles gift cards or flybuys points. It will be nice to get funds which I can spend on groceries at Coles. So far the only ways I can get free groceries at Coles are through flybuys promotions and CBA Awards points which I convert to Coles vouchers.

    Yeah I got the invitation too the last couple of times. I think everybody filling in the form gets it. I declined, no time for that.

      I'm not sure how much time I will need to spend on the forum to make any decent return but I thought I'd take up the invitation and learn more about it before deciding not to spend the time there.

    I haven't been contacted about the new forum yet. I wonder whether this new forum will be started to replace the Coles Blog. This feature of the Coles website appears to have disappeared. When I use my bookmarks for the Coles blog I get redirected to the Coles homepage.

    no idea about the coles forum, but I did a forum for Dulux paint a year back.
    The posted senarios, pictures, adverts every now and then over about a month, nothing too major and you didnt need to reply to everything. End of the time the gave $50 to your paypal account.

    It was actually interesting to see what ideas they were thinking of. Coles will be the same , they will ask what you think of this logo, would you pay more for X item if it was gift wrapped by a monkey (well maybe not that).

    The forum was closed to the selected members, it wasnt public.

      I haven't had an invitation to join the forum mentioned in the May Tell Coles survey.

      Since doing the May Tell Coles survey I've been asked the same question in the June and July survey. I've answered both times that I was interested in joining the forum but no luck yet. I'm guessing they are taking a few people from each demographic group and don't need anyone else from my group yet.
