I have been looking for the airfares from Melbourne to London and found that the Royal Brunei price is quite good at the moment.

For example, MEL – LHR – MEL is $1,370.5 return for 27.07 – 27.10 or
MEL – LHR – MEL is $1,432.12 return for 27.08 – 27.10 (where I need to travel).

The flights are 26 h 40 mins for MEL - LHR and 26 h 00 mins for LHR – MEL.

Other dates are available as well.

Somehow, it is cheaper to book this airfare thought the website in the link rather than though the airline official webpage.
Hope this might help somebody.

      As a non drinker myself, i preferred the relaxed atmosphere of Brunei airlines..

    I flew Royal Brunei earlier this year. And personally for me never again.
    They check your bags again through the transit terminal even though you had just got off the flight. We just made it for the last call to our connecting flight.
    The seats were uncomfortable and they didn't have enough blankets for everyone on board.
    I wanted one not to use as a blanket but as a cushion for my poor backside =(

    Why always this misinformation about Brunei being alcohol-free? It is true that they are a dry airline (i.e. they do not provide any alcohol - for religious reasons), however they WILL serve you your OWN alcohol.

      be sure to consume it on the first leg of your flight as they will check your bags and remove any when transitting through the airport.
