Any deals or promotions for flying to USA this late-july . I just want to book a ticket to Houston but seem all the flights are $1800 plus :(

Using google flights, every date in late July seems to be the same price $1455 return from SYD with United.

According to air nz site now you can get return flights to Houston for $1,767 on July 14th to August 6th. Make sure you use the promo code NAM300.

Or if you depart on 23 July and come back on 13 August you can get return to LAX for $930 using NAM300 and then book a separate flight to Houston for about $350 AUD return = about $1,280 return.

As I said in January if you make separate bookings then make sure you have plenty of time between flights at LAX. If the arriving flight is delayed you may miss the next one and risk losing your money.
