  Couldn't find any information on the resolution of the camera. Is 8gb enough for 24/7 recording? I thought at least 500gb or 1tb?

    They put the minimum size SD card just to say it's included…lucky to hold two hours.

    The only mention I could find anywhere of the camera resolution is apparently only 320x240, probably why they don't state it anywhere in the specs.

  Anyone that might have been considering this system, or missed out on it, have a look at your local Kmart for the OfficeOne outdoor wireless camera's. Much better and at $39 a pop much cheaper also. If you didn't need them all outdoor, the $29 OfficeOne is great too, and even has pan/tilt.

      The beauty of using non-proprietary IP camera's is that the options are endless in terms of the recording platform. You can use anything from a Windows/Android/IOS phone/tablet, to a miniPC or PC of any type, to a dedicated DVR. Simplest to test with would be just to install iSpy or other free software on your computer and then configure each camera in that software for continuous or motion detection recording and go from there.
