Vote Again (1 Time) after Revoking a Vote or Change Vote

I would like to be able to

-Vote Again (1 Time) after Revoking a Vote or be able to change my vote.

e.g. I voted +ve but now after revoke my vote and want to vote negative.

This should be restricted to only allowed to do this once.
-If you revoke your vote, you are allow a 1 time to change your vote.

Why?

Because I find that often the case the issue occurs
People vote positive a deal prior to deal starting only to find out after the deal has started that it

-It was not as good a deal as people thought

-It turn out to have limited stocks

-Prices gets changed (e.g. ebay discount %, dicksmith increases the price when deal actually starts)

-Seller was a scammer,

-Site was just email harvesting

-Deal does not actually exists

-Item turns out to be defective, faulty, not as described.

====
Without being able to change our vote to -ve after revoking..

There's no way to alert other users the negative/complaints of the bargain.

The thread will still have +ve without the -ve of those who revoke their vote.

So even if I make comment in the thread, there is no -ve to my name, so that others can see why I no longer consider this a deal
or to alert them to any of the above mention reasons.

  • How about only adding a positive for a deal once you're sure it is actually a deal - I see far too many deals these days that are not even active yet with high tens of positives when there is no confirmation that there is a deal happening, or of stock being available.

This could easily be solved by only clicking positive when you're sure that there is a deal.

    • I think there is a problem with

      1. Fat fingers on touchscreen, I had accidents where I've accidentally pressed the +ves while scrolling
      2. Some deals are hard to determine whether they are a deal or not till late, i.e. there was a deal that had xiaomi batteries for fairly cheap price. It was fake but we had no way to tell whether it was a fake or not until it got delievered.
    • yes, that is the whole point of the thread..

Often people +ve deal just cos they think it sounds good..

or they want to quickly bookmark the deal..
cos it is easier to just +ve a deal instead of going in the deal and click bookmark, then choosing which folder to bookmark it in.
and even if you bookmark, it is much easier to view your votes than to view your bookmarks..
because you can view the most recent +ve votes more easier.

once the deal becomes active and either
-it turns out the deal was crap
-deal was in fact a spam or email harvest
-deal turns out to extremely limited stock
-sellers increase the price because they see it has been ozbargain
-seller takes the item off sale or makes it out of stock immediately..

there's no way to to revoke and neg the deal.
