  • Great, but is it for everyone (says "Family & Friends")? Will they accept printed copy?

  • will they accept b/w copy?

  • im pretty sure, like most of the other family and friends events, the offer will be available to the public on the day. So you probably wont need to bring any printout.

Please correct me if im wrong lol

  • so… why does adidas have 3 different logos?

    • The black striped logo is the Adidas Performance logo (athletes), the trefoil is Adidas Originals (fashion), and the plain text logo is used on corporate material etc

  • Went to Nike outlet for their 'friends and family' offer, didn't need the voucher (even though it said you must present it), there were printed signs all over the shop saying 'family and friends - 40% off marked price' so no need to show anything. I would assume Addidas is the same.

    • You better print one just in case as Puma; who had a similar offer in place this weekend were asking for a printed copy. Also b/w print is usually fine.

  • can someone confirm this is a real 40% off and not jack up 30% then take 40% off lol!

    • probably won't be able to confirm it until the day itself, but yeah i know what you mean… Harvey Norman style. I'm hoping that their already reduced footwear gets an additional 40% off, but I guess I'll have to see on the day itself. The printout doesn't say 'excludes already reduced items,' so I'm hoping for the best.

  • last time this happened you needed the printout. these stores are often aimed at tourists who will have no idea to use these. I went before and most people didnt have them.

    Might be different this time…

For me it was a genuine 40% off RRP. Sometimes not that much better than street price (for tshirts etc) but GREAT for soccer boots and shoes. Saved myself heaps on a pair of predators. Wish I could afford another pair!

  • i had a chat with one of the guys at the adidas store, and the person said that it was a genuine 40% sale.

with the voucher, the person said that i had to bring it in, so yea whether its b/w or colour, you gotta have the voucher on hand to get the discount. hope this helps.

  • anyone have any details on the Puma sale?

    • I went to DFO Puma. The size of most of clothes is xxl or xs, it's diffcult to find your size. You can't get the disccount without the coupon.

  • Anyone know if this will work for the Adelaide Adidas store? Its not listed in the addresses provided on the pdf.

    • Ok, sorry ignore my post apparently I don't think Rundle Mall is in Adelaide :)

  • is this 40% off rrp or off lowest ticketed price (i.e. marked down * 2)

  • Just got back from Bourke St Mall. Quite busy, but line moves relatively fast. Also seem to have plenty of stock (they keep re-stocking).

Be sure to check your receipt - I just checked mine and found one item scanned $5 more than the ticketed price. Will have to go back later/tomorrow.

  • Went to Chadstone this morning, there weren't too many people there and the selection was good. Just had to show print out of pdf to get discount.

  • went to dfo moorabbin, sneakers were already marked down 40% and not much variety. shirts seemed to be all small or medium. guess i got there too late :(

  • I went to Brisbane City!!
Quite a selection but i had the same problem with sizing. Most things only had small and medium, hard to find Large.

Don't bother.. its 40% off the original ticket prices. They have both original and a yellow sales ticket so you have to figure out if 40% off original is cheaper than yellow ticket.. which roughly was like $10 less. Nike sale was much better. As for styles.. there wasn't anything that stood out. What a waste of time.

    • I just got many items @ South Wharf DFO - was 40% off marked down price on all but 1 item with orange tag.
      Ignite shoes - was $120 reduced to $70 - paid $42.

      • That wasn't the case in Perth. See it was either $120 minus 40% or $70.
I had a pretty good deal at Nike with their kids cortez: 40% off of $35

Not sure why people are going to a DFO store unless nothing else was close - makes more sense to purchase from their normal retail stores and browse their current range of stock.

What's wrong with looking at previous season stock at cheaper prices? There are styles that people might prefer over new season, plus its cheaper.

      • It may be a bit cheaper but I was under the impression the 40% applied to the retail price - which apparently was not the case.

But the point is - why complain about a DFO store not having stock/sizes? There's a reason the store is in DFO.
