Be prepared to download an 18gig updates before you start playing or else you'll have to reboot frequently. Because the game crashes very often.

    • Also be prepared for the 18gb patch to fail, and having to redownload it again. Has happened to me before -.-

      • Yeah happened to me like 30 times, took me 3-4 days all up to do it constantly trying to restart it after it kept saying "installation cancelled"

  • Whats the forum code for bold & font size change?

    • +1

      Bold = ** text ** (without spaces)
There's no font size changing, you can do headings instead (# title)

Awesome price. Pity it's impossible to find anyone online thanks to the 6 months of broken netcode.

Regardless it is worth it just for the fantastic campaigns.

Yeah, I was super excited for it, and unfortunately it killed my excitement so quickly. The campaigns are great but one of the early updates broke even them for me.
Probably one of the most botched launches ever. Its such a shame too, cause it should have got a bunch of new people into Halo, which is an awesome series.

    I think the code's expired

    • Ah, in another thread the coupon was marked as expiring after tonight. It was a one use code too I believe, not sure if that is affecting you.

code did not work for me

Still the cheapest around, and AU stock to boot.

    "$5 collection fee"?

    really?

    • Pick up in store is $37. And they'll most likely have stock. Just walk into a store. Plus it's faster than click and collect.

Absolute bullsh**t to complete a transaction online then have Target trying it on with a "$5 collection fee", seeing as, for once, consumers have given Target floor staff an actual reason to make themselves even more scarcer than usual.

This dropped in price rapidly. This collection had massive potential to kick start the Halo online community, giving the newer generation a taste of what it was like to be playing Halo 2 on the original Xbox at 2am with those crappy headsets they had. But they failed, matchmaking still sucks absolute ****. Never again will I trust them.

    Masterchef?!

    Its 3:40am… I need sleep.

  • Not much of a multiplayer TBH, but I enjoyed the campaigns and graphics in this.

Didn't experience any bugs, but like I said, I'm not on multiplayer (yes, I'm well aware of the disaster this was for people who wanted it for online).

    • To me, Halo 2's cutscenes haves always been one of the coolest campaign cutscene's in any game ever, and they redesigned every single cutscene 100% perfectly.

It's a shame they excluded Reach in exchange for Halo 4 in this, as it belongs to the original trilogy far more than 4; the stapled on Frankenstein.

      • Yeah, I really enjoyed reach on 360, thought the campaign was pretty cool! Perhaps we'll get it after ODST (which I've never played)…

It's a shame how much of a backlash this got, but hey, I'm not that hardcore obviously. :)

        • I could be defined as hardcore. Still prefer ODST over 4, lol. Mostly because it's got Nathan Fillian in it… Mostly.
