    I believe it is only an expansion package.. it says you still need to original game, which is $14.99 USD for all formats.

        Heck, read the link you posted.. It was a complete waste of 30 seconds. I barely know anything about the game from reading that. It's a pile of pointles words and then suddenly, there's a rating. Poor journalism.

    To get the PS+ price, yes, your US PSN account must also be a PS+ subscriber.
    Where the Aus to US dollar is at the moment, and the "free" games being the same, it is hard to justify having a US PS+ account these days. If you buy enough games during these types of sales, then it can be worth it.

    I hate them.

    I'd be content to just not buy them, but some games are designed around them. e.g. content cut from main game to be sold for extra. The day 1 DLC is a prime example.

    It's a stealthy way of increasing prices. The game prices have not gone up, similar to potato chips and chocolate bars. They just put less and less in it. You want the full experience, you pay more.
