    Love your work!

    • I was busy writing up the Witcher 3 deal :p

Excellent price for the headphones. I bought them a while back for around $100, which was a good deal at the time. Definitely good quality sound, though as almost all of the reviews mention, the controls are a bit tricky at first. Once you adjust the volume upwards on the headphones themselves (it's independent of the phone/tablet/etc), the sound is good and loud. The NFC feature is great, and I can confirm the 4-5 hour run time.

  • anyone find a place to buy witcher3?

it looks like unavailable in any store

  • Nice one!! Bought one and was planning on picking up from Box Hill but it went to Out of Stock after paying with Paypal. Gotta go to Ringwood instead. Awesome price!

For people new to these sorts of headsets, I'd caution not to underestimate the convenience factor of easily accessible, well-designed controls. My Jaybird Bluebuds and Plantronics Backbeats have saved so much thumbling about with my pocketed phone over the past couple of years.

These Sonys have a control akin to a single-button mouse, and its placement on the body of one of the earbuds (instead of inline on the cord) makes it even more problematic.

Yup, waiting for my BlueBuds to come from America. My previous bluetooth earphones had the controls on the bud and it was not only annoying to hear the click-clack of button presses (if you skip 3-4 songs that's 8 loud clacks in your right ear), but it wore the earphones faster from the constant button use.

I'll take excellent design with good sound over excellent sound and average design any day.

  • I considered purchasing these but after reading a few online reviews I might give it a miss.
