Mini Ninjas for Xbox 360 only $22 +$4 post. The game came out this year so this is very cheap. Great present for the kids for Christmas!
This is the Korean version however it is region free (will work on your Aussie console) and it lists English as a language (but doesn't list Korean o_O).

download the demo and try it yourself. I thought it was pretty fun. Nothing deep and epic, but light hearted fun.

Yeah, I've played through it all and it is a very good game. I really enjoyed it. Even on Hard difficulty setting first up, I didn't find it difficult at all, so for kids playing on Normal difficulty they shouldn't find it frustrating.
Graphics are pretty and cute. Like when you 'defeat' a baddie, they don't die, they turn into fluffy animals (like bunnies, foxes) and you can take control of all animals including bears and hogs. And you rescue captured animals from their cages along your adventure, as well as fellow ninjas. Whom you can switch to once they are in your party.
There are whitewater rapid rafting, sledding down snow slopes, all great fun.
I would have bought it if it was co-op multiplayer.
Single player just wouldn't be enough fun for me.
