I was looking for a good leather lounge set to replace the current one at home and looked at few stores and came across this one http://store.focusonfurniture.com.au/lounge-suites/leather-l… at Focuson furniture Nunawading, Vic. It looks good 100% leather and seat is firm. 1 year warranty for leather, 3 years for foam and filling and 5 years for structure.

Went to Super Amart to look at similar ones and came across this one http://www.superamart.com.au/quattro-45162/. This one is also good but seat is not as firm as the one from focuson. I showed Super Amart about the focuson price and they said they will beat it by a $1 with free delivery effectively $898 delivered. 12 months warranty.

I bought the one from focuson because I wanted firm seat. Staff at focuson told me price is valid until end of this month.

Edit : I got the sofa delivered yesterday. It is good for what I had paid for. There was a small cut in the 2 seater. I had reported to their customer service and they said they will swap with a new one on Tuesday.

  Only a 1 Year Warranty on 100% Genuine Leather? Alarm bells!

  Obviously depends on budget but most would not consider this a good leather couch. It have been processed to look like full hide leather but quality would be far from it.

  Nevertheless, looks like a decent price for the product.

    The Australian Consumer Law would cover you if there was a fault. Anything you buy in Australia is expected to last for a reasonable amount of time. Who cares if you only have 1 year warranty, if the leather starts falling apart after 2 years you can take it back and claim under the ACL; more.

    Super A mart always provide a 1 year warrantee which is standard minimum under consumer law. they do this so they can UPSELL their warrantee package = $200 for extra 5 years.

    FOF usually provide 5 years structure and 3 years fabric/leather as standard (plus extra year with platinum credit card)

  I bought the Toronto leather range from focuson and what attracted me was the price compared to other retailers.

  Their website says - " When we say 100% leather lounge, leather sofa or maybe even leather couch, we meant it!
  When we say real leather lounges, we mean real, quality 100% leather. Not bonded, not by-cast, not hide - not any other name to cover the fake stuff; the real deal. Genuine, authentic, beautiful leather - ‘Leather as it should be'"

  looks like a deal good.

  focus on website is useless though might have to pop in store to have a look. no description, fine. but they should at least put some measurements up.

  Yeah have to agree with Coley. 1 year warranty on a leather lounge suite is pretty bad.

  But, you get what you pay for (am I allowed to say that here?)

  It's not really leather. Cheap couch leather is to real leather what pet mince is to a top shelf cut of from a butcher.

      Quality leather costs significantly more than this.

        I went and sat on a set today after work to test it's comfiness (they are too small for me).
        Anyway, I would probably agree with you and don't believe them either. Yes it looks and feels like leather but not the type of leather you expect from a real leather couch.

  I wouldn't trust Super A mart.. they have the seediest floor Sales staff. Their stuff looks cheap and just as seedy. BTW what the hell does 100% genuine corrected grain leather mean?! 100% genuine spin.

  Thanks OP. Just purchased one today. Sofa looks good and I reconfirmed from the store that it is 100% leather. It might not be top quality leather though but cannot complain at this price.

    It is definitely better than the Amart stuff. My friends bought similar models from Amart they are not as strong as this one. I would say reasonable product for reasonable price.
