    Not for these purposes, but they do exist. You're not gonna run on days with a battery, it has to be barebone with lowered quality or motion activated. No one wants to change batteries everyday with these, if you're gonna run a car battery for longer uptime, then you might aswell hook it to mains.

    TL;DR battery operated security cams are glorified video doorbells.

    I don't, but the low resolution is snough to keep me away. It's QVGA when recording more than one camera - 320x240. My watch has a higher resolution screen. ;)

      Thanks, so not even worth it at this price? I'd be using it to distinguish between a person or an animal at night times…so I can check what it is without having to get out of bed a million times lol

        It should be good enough to distinguish between a person and an animal. Just don't expect to be able to ID the person. :)
