The delay in starting a call is due to Security check on the IP
The latency if any may be due to your Internet conn'VOIP plans on spoxcy need to be compared to Pennytel, Gotalk or other VOIP providers to see if they offer real value.

Last time this VoIP company posted (by the same guy by the way), it received pretty bad reviews from other members.
I'd be VERY wary about dealing with these guys.
They seem to be associated with Zanok IT.

Well, it appears to be the real deal.
However, the call latency is incredibly high; over a second easily. I'm not sure how usable your service, albeit free, will be in a normal phone call.
