Breville BEM800 $299 - Instore David Jones ADL, SA

160

Breville BEM800 Scraper Mixer Pro… available in-store (no stock online, apparently) - purchased at Adelaide City Store, looked to be plenty of stock. Part of DJs clearance. Link says RRP is $229, however instore it was listed as $599. Best price on OzB previously has been ~$370.

The White/Sherbet colour was $229, the black, red and stainless colours were $299.

Edit: Looks like the Sherbet colour is sold out from the Adelaide store (maybe worth trying other stores?). Plenty of the other colours at the Adelaide store.

Also saw in the store, the Breville BES900 Dual Boiler coffee machine for $500 (RRP $1500).

  • I hope it becomes available online too so the amex deal can bring it down to $189!

  • I just grabbed the last boxed Sherbert one from the Adelaide store. They have about 20 of the other ones around the floor though. I believe the reason for the price might be that there is a new model out, because when I asked at the counter if they had stock of the Sherbert one they asked if I was after the 800 or 820:

The 800 no longer appears on the website (except for the elderberry version):

  • I think you're right, but according to this link… https://www.facebook.com/BrevilleAustralia/posts/79523788054…, the only difference is that the BEM820 comes with an additional 3L bowl and scraper whisk. According to the Breville website, these have a RRP of $100. So I reckon it's not a new model as such, just has those additional attachments.

    • Yep, from what I can tell the only difference between them is that the 820 comes with the twin bowls.

  • +1

Shame the silver isn't the same price as the white.

  • Is this mixer reliable ?

  • Great post. Thank you.
