I have never used Uber Taxi before, which code should I use for maximum free credit?
I need to get to Melbourne Airport as cheap as possible tomorrow morning.
How is the availability with Uber? Is it reliable, or would I have slim chances getting one at around 6am Sunday morning?

Edit: Ok I just checked the app again and it says "Share your promo code with friends and they'll get their first ride free". So perhaps it is free for the friend? But the person who sends out the code gets a free ride up to $A25. shrug

Hi all,
Just reporting back about my first Uber ride.
I ended up using a $25.00 Code I found online. Trip was from North Melbourne to the Airport at 6.15am this Sunday. I asked the driver to avoid the Citylink in order to save some $…no traffic at this time anyway.
In the end I paid $18.62 so not too bad, however it could have been less. There was a surcharge x1.4, probably because of Saturday night which was still active. When I booked the Uber there were plenty available and it took only 2 minutes for the car to arrive.
The Surcharge alone was $12.46 so the trip could have cost only $6.00
I think they're all the same for the most part.
That being said, I recently got a notification on my app that will give you your first ride for free - which would be ideal for an airport trip in terms of maximizing your gain, since most codes only give you a fixed amount of credit.
