At the bottom of the page, T&C said *New customers who are approved for a Coles MasterCard from 1st June 2015 to the 30th June 2015 with a flybuys account will receive $100 off a single Coles Supermarket shop. Only one $100 offer per flybuys household. Assumption : 2000 points for $10 is the only rewards you want.
If you spend less than $6,530 annually on the card, No annual fee is better
If you spend more than $6,530 annually on the card, annual fee is betterCalculations: Break even point
No annual fee:
$6530/2 = 3,265 Points
3,265 Points / 2000 = 1.6325 gift cards
1.6325 gift cards * $10 = $16.325Annual fees
$6530*2 = 13,060 Points
13,060 Points / 2000 = 6.53 gift cards
6.53 gift cards * 10 = $65.3
$65.3 - $49 annual fee = $16.30Correct me if this is wrong :)
You're right, assuming that the Ozbargainer applying for the card doesn't already accumulate rewards points somewhere else….
if you're using ING rebate 2%, it would be $127, if eachtransaction is 99 and under
Just cancelled my Coles MC after getting my $100 Target voucher. I had a read of the T&C but couldn't see if there was a restriction on previous applicants. Can anyone confirm?
Did you pay the $49-annual fee?

I also cancelled the card and then reapplied. Called their support and they said they would send me sms after 3 weeks. Then shop at coles groceries of more than 100 dollars, scan flybuys at the register with a cashier and u get 100 off.

Pretty fast. Matter of days. The three weeks after which they said they would send SMS to notify about 100$ off is aproaching. I will call them on the day to inquire.
