no point system either so it sucks.

  • +14

    $152, really

    • +2

      Still not bad!

      If they approve the application.

      • -2

        Why would they not approve?

        • +7

Everything is possible for cc churners like me

  • +2

When can we get $152? After 3 months? or the moment we have spent $500?

    • +3

It’ll be at 3 months, they always are.

      • +1

When I got a similar targetted offer from ING a couple years ago, I met the minimum spend on day one and got paid out within a few weeks. Might've changed now though

        • +1

I took up offer last time round. Spend done within a month. They paid out after 3 months.

    • When I did similar ING deals in the past, it was usually within 2 weeks of completing whatever criteria they set

      • +1

Hoping the same happens for me. Means I will get my $200 next week.

  • +6

It is a reminder for those who still hold it but need to cancel it before anniversary date, annual fee in effect for all from 21 Jul.

    • +1

Yep I didn’t realized this and got hit with the annual fee few weeks ago

    • I'll be Cancelling this plus my NAB Rewards come Feb or March 2026 once i get the 20k velocity points from Velocity's promo.

I still have my Bendigo Ready to get me by until the Amex Velocity has a good deal. I'm hoping for another holiday down to Tasmania.

      • What's a good dal for amex velocity? Currently 100000 points

  • Is this bonus taxable?

  • +1

    One of the eligibility conditions:

Either hold an active Orange Everyday, or request to open one along with your Orange One Low Rate

That means we should get one card and one other account with them

  • +2

What about people who have held the card previously ?

  • +2

ING tricky, rejected me twice, but I got approved easily with Kogan, CBA, Amex

    • +1

I also got rejected today, though I have an excellent credit history, high paying full time job and no debt.

      • Regular churning?

  • What are eligible transactions?

  • +1

I got a targeted one about a month ago. No $500 spend, just 5 transactions.

Currently waiting for $200 to come through. I met the 5 transactions on day 2 of activating the card just under 2 weeks ago.

    • Likewise. Let me know when you receive the bonus. Noticed the annual fee was deducted day 1.

  • did anyone get this

    1. We review your application
We’ll assess your application within 4-6 business days and let you know if you’ve been conditionally approved.
We’ll also tell you if your application is declined.
  • Any terms state an exceluson for previous card holders? Keen for some "free" moola

  • I can enter the code, but how it didn't show me any deal that it was valid for?

  • +1

I got rejected only a few hours after the application. I didn’t have my hopes up based on all the comments about getting rejected in the previous posts.

    • Same. No reason why I would get rejected but I did. Felt like my personal information got farmed by ING.

  • Getting some bs API error when trying to add my Commbank account to verify my income.

Authentication with the API failed due to invalid user token.

  • What a joke, got denied for a $1000 credit limit within an hour of the application.

I live at home for free with the parents with no dependants, I am self employed, have a property investment fully paid off generating rental income and fark all expenses. I even have $100k in my savings account with ING generating interest (along with another 2 different banks).

I meet all their criteria including the "Earn $36,000 or more a year (before tax)". I actually had to put in more more expenses than I actually spend as it said my expenses were too low.

    Wasted time.

    • +1

they denied you for living at home with your parents while making bank

    • Brother you don't need this card, you're set

    • +1

      Quoted from ING's website:

To be eligible to apply for Orange One Low Rate, you need to:

      Be aged 18+
Earn $36,000 or more a year
Be an Australian citizen, New Zealand or Australian permanent resident
Have and maintain an Australian residential address
Have a good credit rating and meet our credit lending guidelines
Either hold an active Orange Everyday, or request to open one along with your Orange One Low Rate
      Have PAYG payslips

Note: Orange One Low Rate is currently NOT available to Self-employed applicants.

    • +1

I was also rejected. I have a savings + maximiser account with them. My government income goes into an ING account. I own the house I live in outright. When I entered my monthly expenses it told me I'd made a mistake, so I doubled it. Still too low for the form to accept, so tripled it. One hour later, application unsuccessful.

      • My government income

        That's the problem

        • +2

Government, as in I'm employed by the government, not government benefits.

  • +1

Got approved despite have 28k limit across 5 cards and a 5k ING personal loan.

  • So I signed up towards the start of September from a targeted, similar version of this offer.

Just got my $200 cashback at the end of yesterday.

My cutoff date to meet the requirements was end of October so I get the impression that it doesn't matter how early you meet the requirements, they assess on your cut off date and credit you accordingly.

  • -1

Can anyone confirm this offer is still available? Is there a link to the terms and conditions?

At which point during the application do you enter the code?

    Thanks in advance.
