FYI, it's the older version. The new Sennheiser Momentum overear 2.0 has been released but at twice the price.
I think it's more like triple the price.
It is wireless though which is nice but there was a recall for them last month

Interesting review. I don't find the 1.0's uncomfortable what so ever. Also not sure about the 'L' connector on the 2.0's when the cables designed for use with iOS devices that have a top or bottom audio jack. Always had my 1.0 cables jack aligned straight.

I'm here to save everyone the trouble of opening 20 tabs and reading 40 reviews. I've done all that. THey are great headphones and will run fine straight off the phone without an amp (usually required to run more demanding headphones). These are really "efficient" to drive and sound superb. I bought mine when DSE had them for $160 earlier this year.

I'm so goddam tempted to buy the on-ears for working out in but I just know I'll trash them by jerking the cord when I stand up :| .. should I do it?
I just trashed my JVC-S500-Z today no less by doing exactly that (though they lasted an impressively long time and for $36 they're astonishingly good value for the sound, comfort and build quality, probanly my favourite on-ears ever. And people comment that they look very expensive as well :D
Why don't you grab one with detachable cords (I am not sure whether this one has a detachable cord)? So that you can change them when they break down.

Should be able to hang that from the 3.5mm input (not confirmed but I saw this in marketing materials for this item) so it looks "nice" … however I'm gonna put a Fiio E6 amp on them as well if I can handle how dorky it may look :p … planning on attaching both of them to the Momentums somehow anyway ;).
So after playing with my E6 amp and busted JVC HA-500 I think think could be done without looking too dorky … the E6 fits nice on the inside of the band without touching my head, pretty sure the Avantree Saturn will fit on the other side in a similar manner.
A six inch 3.5" male to male cord will go across the headphone band to attach the BT reciever to the amp. Then another 1 inch (or 3) 3.5" male to male cord will connect the amp to the headphone input.
In theory … we shall see, don't blame me if you look like an idiot if you decide to do this as well ;)
