I jumped, just to try it out. Bought a 6 player CSGO server and it was all set up within 5 minutes. Spent another 5 minutes installing sourcemod in the server through FTP and it is running nicely! I DON'T like the fact that passwords are stored in plain text, which is a disappointment.
The only real issue I've had was one of my friends had 995 ping on the server, but that might just be his issue (though, he can play any other server fine).We are looking into the passwords are stored in plain text. It's not the top priority but it is a major security issue.
As for the friend with 995 ping could you clarify which state they live in? Because some of the uplinks aren't really that reliable and it could be our end, we just want to check to make sure it's not us with the fault. :)
Same state as me and my other friends (Victoria). We'll probably jump back on the server tonight and see if the issue persists :)
I gather it's probably his connection if that is the case but ill have a look into it anyway :) always good to be safe then sorry.
