Note: Why would we spend $120 at woolies when we can get cheaper at ALDI [ Will you price match ALDI]

    • I guess you have to signup a new account to get free delivery on $100. As far as I can tell this is for existing accounts which maybe more convenient anyway if your spend is $120 or more.

    • +9

Don't think the OP realises who he is dealing with here… (in 300 voice) THIS IS OZBARGAAAAAIN!!!! kick

    • +1

"Note: Why would we spend $120 at woolies when we can get cheaper at ALDI"

Maybe there are some of us for whom visiting supermarkets is something like hell, and hence we get our groceries delivered. Aldi do not deliver groceries.

    • +1

      $50 min spend now.

  • -2

No thanks. Prices at store most likely to be cheaper.

  • You've gotta try harder WW.

  • +1

Hi - All prices and specials at Woolworths are the same in store and online.

    • I don't think that is true.

Based on my observation, the prices for your vege and fruits are different from suburbs to suburbs.

      • They do that based on suburbs as some suburbs gets an 'A' grade quality product and willing to pay for the price.
The price for other items are all the same though online and in store.
If you're after vege and fruit, it's better to go straight to the market.

        • I think you know more than this WW rep.

    • What about store special? Manager special? Are you saying that Woolworths have a nationwide pricing strategy ?

      • +2

All specials that you find in store are online, eg half price, red spot etc Occasionally a store manager may discount stock that is nearing the use by date but all advertised specials are available online.

Pricing may vary between regions, but the prices in your local store and the prices to deliver to your home would be the same.

        • "Pricing may vary between regions, but the prices in your local store and the prices to deliver to your home would be the same."

Are you saying online prices will change if I change my delivery address?

        • @victorheaven: I would say pricing will change if you changed your suburb (20+km) within the same state.

        • Woolworths Rep, A question……is a Cheap Cheap special available at all stores nationally at the same price??

  • +3

Not a great deal. Coles do $100 for free delivery for the first time and every Wednesday. http://shop.coles.com.au/online/national/info/first-shop-fre…

Which happens to have the chance of being more frequent than this WW offer.

  • +3

You have to try a little harder OP. $30 min spend would maybe cut it, but to claim $120 min spend as an OzB exclusive is a little over the top.

    • +1

or maybe free delivery if you buy one Eneloop product

  • +1

So 5 apples and a Banana should get you over the spend limit.

    • …and 3 of those apples may even still be edible.

  • Sorry rep … If you want to do an "ozbargain exclusive" .. make sure its a good one.

  • +1

Nope not a bargain….the minimum spend part killed it for me
    Should be naged IMO

  • min. spend = too high!

  • +1

    Minimum spend is extremely high.

    • Wrong idea to set such a high min. spend

  • +2

So ripping off Ozbargainer is exclusive ?

    • +1

      GET BACK TO WORK TOM!

  • +1

Poor rep. Got smacked down hard. Its not even as good as WW's existing offers, who are they trying to fool here?

  • I mean I guess it's not a bad thing if you already plan to spend that much but it is overly high for what I'd expect.

  • +3

A lot of unjustified negativity. Anyone with a family will easily spend over $120 week, so this saves $11 for them - a good deal in my opinion.

    • If you have the same offer with min. spend of $100 ( See MM's post above) and put this up as something "exclusive", you deserve the negs.

      • +4

I am happy to be corrected but isn't MM's post only for new accounts?

But this ones is for existing accounts right?

Don't get me wrong it's certainly not a fantastic deal so I won't be voting for it but I haven't found a legitimate reason for a neg either. To me it's the sort of deal that deserves to just sit there with 1 positive and no negs.

        • -1

The difference is that this is a rep posting for free advertisement. So if they expect results they better up their game. Other wise reps can just start spamming their crappy deals.

      • The so-called 'same-offer' is not the same at all. For new accounts only. You cannot keep opening new accounts for the same delivery address.

  • +1

You didn't even bring any beans when every week imissbeans

You have no idea of our easternculture

    You insult our tightarse-ness

    neg

    This is OzBAAGAINNNN

    • Lets do a collaboration 300 ripoff for next OzB bday haha

      • Ha ha. Done! Let's do it. I was inspired by your comment above.

  • Now if the minimum spend was $50 for free delivery that's an Ozbargain exclusive, this amounts to an Ozbargain slap in the face! Rep you're going to have to do much better than that!

    • Looks like you got your wish!.

  • +1

Our shoppers love free delivery so we thought our OzBargain friends would love that too. Our recent offer on bulk buy soups got lots of positive comments - are there other types of products you'd like to see deals on? We'd love to hear what type of offers you would be keen to see here.

    • 1/2 price Connoisseur Ice Cream with free delivery for 6 tubs would be a great start :)

    • Other than just general discounts, maybe things that are popular items on this site such as:

      Nappies
      Itunes
      Soft drink
      Chocolates
      Chips and other snacks
      Tuna maybe
      Ice cream
      Phone simcards or vouchers
      Gift cards
      Toilet paper
      Etc

Just be aware that ozbargainers are quite capable of searching previous prices so I'd say perhaps try to either match, beat or at very least, be close.

Ok got the feedback that you want a lower threshold, how about a minimum spend of $50? Shop the great specials over the weekend. Coupon code now updated to $50 minimum spend.

  • +1

with the free delivery i shop more at woolies big thumbs thanks

  • -2

Is this supposed to be a sweetener for the stuff up and breach of privacy a couple of weeks back?

    Got to do better!

  • +1

When I get an offer for free delivery with a reasonable minimum spend I generally order. I do a main shop at Aldi every few weeks and top up at WW/IGA/Coles.
    Thanks.

  • +2

^^ Ignore what I posted above. The new website is awful and I gave up trying to use it.

  • +2

Try free delivery with min $30 spend, surely you'll get more customers and more sales

  • $50 is better than $120, but $30 is much better, even the spend $40 get $10 back on EDR, plus more AMEX credits for each $30 would be great OP!

  • I agree! the new website is so bad, hard to use and only shows a few products at a time so takes FOREVER to look through the items. Not using it again! :(
