150

Been looking for a new lightweight stroller. The Maclaren Quest Elite looked like a good deal especially with DJ's free shipping. Other online retailers list it for around $360-$380. If you subscribed to the AMEX spend $200 at David Jones get $40 statement credit it's even better. Remember to checkout using your AMEX instead of Paypal to get the statement credit. The stroller had pretty decent reviews.

Will buy this just so my child can say their first set of wheels was a McLaren.

    • Do you want a Stig? Because this is how you get a Stig.

  • Thanks OP! Been waiting on a deal on a Maclaren - have had an alert set on Ozbargain for ages!
Very nice to combine with AMEX and Cashrewards - comes to a bit over $220 all up.

  • From the DJ item description:
"Designed for infants and children up to 15 kg, the award winning Quest stroller offers a smooth and relaxing ride. Compact and sturdy, it travels well in both city and rural landscapes.

  • We own Maclaren Vogue. They are awesome.

  • Can someone explain the AMEX deal to me? Do I just pay with AMEX and I'll get $40 off?

  • gumtree!!

there are literally hundreds of strollers selling second hand on there that are just as good as new.

I would be hesitant in buying a car capsule or seat, but for everything else travel related for a child gumtree should be your first point of call… especially if you are considering spending almost $300 on a stroller.

    trust me.

    • true, but I add eBay if you're looking for stroller, some of these sold dirt cheap in eBay.

  • Can this be used for newborn. At what age can we use this.

    • the tiny wheels on this stroller makes it more portable than user friendly or being comfortable for the baby. Not really worth it as can pick up a small wheeled portable stroller from bigW/ Kmart for around 20 bucks….

    • I'd say when they can sit on their own (6 months+), new born doesn't seem to like this (at least mine) as this type of stroller generally has less cushion than the pram type, and the wheels are a bit small so it's not moving very smoothly, especially on road/walk path.

  • No longer available for delivery (sold out online), but may be available for click and collect depending on local stock.
