      Lenovo doesn't have a history of supporting the phones after it is sold. For Xiaomi you'll know you'll receive updates to the next android version and there is a larger community for custom toms.

        Many Xiaomi's do not have a removable battery and in some cases no microsd slot unless im wrong (trying to copy Apple)

    Has anyone here ever bought a Xiaomi phone directly from China (e.g. from the mi Store in Shanghai). I was wondering how easy it would be to source (or explain to the clerk) you want the "international" 4g models for one of the lower-end phones.
