I'm headed to the Gold Coast soon to do the SkyPoint tower before my annual pass expires. Thinking I should make the most of it and do something else while I'm down there. Any suggestions? Something worth seeing/doing?

have a burger and beer and the Brooklyn Depot at night. great burgers and hotdogs, great drinks. Busy place but you can always squeeze in.
http://www.brooklyndepot.com.au/Thank you both for your suggestions. We ended up going to the Pancake place (after Sky Point)and having an extended lunch. We had hoped to fit in a canal cruise, but we timed it wrong. :)
Suggest you take the day trip on a sailing ship from Surfers to South Stradbroke island. Includes bbq lunch, 4wd trip on the island & opportunity for jetboat ride, seaplane ride, etc. Makes for a great day out
