    14 hours to charge for 15 minutes of use sounds pretty rough…

    We've purchased and thrown out similar over the years. The big problem is the short battery life. They are usually lower power 12V batteries. If you manage to find a replacement battery once the installed one carks it, it's usually twice the price of the original complete unit.

    Our current one is a K-Mart Homebrand unit, which we picked up for $35.00 (special) about 18 months ago. It's still working, gives about 15-20 minutes of sucking power per charge.
