Just got three blue ones from Melb CBD and they all appear genuine. Measures up to about 16mm. Fits snugly in the phone no problems.
Picked up my 6 black cables. 1.2 metres and no problems with iPhone 6, fits solid and snug

Inside the parcel only came with 1 of each. Luckily i checked or else they woulda gotten away with giving me one less cable :<awesome,

I'm sus of these from DSE. I bought a heap of white and 1 was dead. They are thinner and the end is less chunky than my other Belkin cable…
Still, its belkin so its easy replacement, no one ever gets any grief with belkin they make their warranty and even the terms with stores so friendly to the customer it's just not worth the hassle to stuff a customer around

Received 1 in one shipment.
In another shipment I got a pair of headphones.
After 30mins on hold, I was told they would have to collect it back to the warehouse before sending out the 7 cables.
OK I bought 3 of these, and the first one has broken in its second day of use. Basically plugged my iphone 6 into it, and noticed it was really tight.
After carrying my phone for a while, I notice that the connection had snapped off! The bit with metal contacts, came off, completely. Basically if you have a coloured cable, the line of separation between the white contact, and your red/blue/pink/black rubber, that's where it snapped cleanly off.
That might be why iPhone 6 is not on the recommended list!
Will be bringing that one back to DS to ask for a replacement!
When you replace it tell them you have an iPhone 5.
I do have an iPhone 5S and an iPad mini (v1)
So I tried the lightning cable and mines saying something along the line not compatible or supported accessory…. Did I get a fake Belkin?

@ATangk: Yeah. The cable works just fine so no complaints.
I DO find it curious that it says 'Australian Warranty Information inside' and there's nothing in the box other than the cable and the plastic that holds it in.
