      Just FYI for those people wanting to go in today and grab stuff, my friend and I went to Harvey Norman to check it out on Wednesday (24th as he wasn't off work on 25th) and asked if they price match…they did…on the spot even though it started the next day.

      Just asked what games came with the bundle and gave us the games and console for $398, price matched the second controller as well no problem.

      EB Games however said they would not price match bundles unless they had the exact same bundle and would not swap games unless at trade in prices i.e. $5 a game pretty much.

          Also, tried two HN last night… one was on the way and the other was next to a JB.

          HN Blacktown seemed like they were trying to help but said they couldn't mach it because they only have the 1TB model in stock (which I believe is not possible seeing as they are being released next month lol)

          HN Castle Hill flat out refused because they don't match bundles…

          So I suppose Blacktown HN would be your best bet if you are around the area and looking to match it. Just make sure you call up to see if they have the 500GB in stock before you go in store to ask them to price match.

      For a local retailer, yes.

      At the moment, Target has the $359 bundle plus 2 games to select out of 4 (all Ubisoft games). Big W has it for $328 - good if those games are not preferred. And Kmart's price is RRP.

      Personally, I'd get the Big W price, since I don't want to be stuck with 2 games I didn't want.

        An employee of Big W posted a link to some crazy deals. It was very limited sale of older PS4 and XB1 consoles (Destiny PS4's and Fifa and Titanfall bundles) as well as older games a week ago. $200 for consoles, $3 for games and accessories. PS Vita's, Pokemon 2DS consoles for $50. PS3 and Xbox consoles were cheap too.

        They sold out very quickly, and at some places staff didn't even know about the deal.

    Called up both JB Hifi in Southland and Doncaster, both were unwilling to price match BigW.

    Southland said they were out of LBP3 (odd) so they couldn't price match, asked to change to other games, NOPE. I told them I have the receipt from jitesh_88 as well but still no good.

    Doncaster unwilling to price match at all, mentioned they will have to wait till the BigW sale to start on the 25th and only if BigW still have stock on that day, then they can price match. I might as well get it from BigW! :D

    Off to BigW then.

          I was referring here to my first comment… and agreeing with him completely..

          The point is "if its in stock at (other retail) then we'll price match"… Why bother waiting for the time of sale, go to Jb to price match, wait for confirmation that big w has stock then price match?? Like he said, he could just go to Big w instead…

          On release they KNOW there's going to be stock , but some retailers just wont honour the price match with excuses, "bundle doesnt match", "we dont have the exact games", "no store nearby", "no stock (at where you're trying to price match from)"… All excuses/reasons come out…

    I tried Garden City (Brisbane) today at 8.30am for the PS4 bundle. The lady said that only toys were available with the EDR card, but after 5.00pm. I went back at 5.00pm today and the person confirmed that the PS4 bundle wouldn't be available until Thursday and they, as yet, don't have the stock of PS4's out the back.

    I tried both Big W Bankstown and JB Hi-Fi - the sale doesn't start until Thursday (I think they're getting sick of getting asked that because they rolled their eyes). JB Hi-Fi said they wouldn't match it because it was so cheap…not sure if they have a price match policy though :)
