    Personally I would stick with one of the name brands. Eg. There are some great Canon P&S cameras probably close in price to this.

    You can get a Sony W180 for $179 at Harvey Norman including 2gb memory card - a much better camera for the money. This Aldi is no bargain

  • Having a Li-Ion battery is better than using the AAA batteries for other cheap cameras at the big stores.

    The 2GB card 'included' is more than enough for the average user and you don't need to buy it like the big stores.

    8GB memory card is a MASSIVE amount for taking photos.

    I don't see this being a bad deal. The touch screen is gimmicky though.

    • Not when your traveling overseas and can go weeks or months without a computer to download to. I love my 32gig SD card.
