It should be a perfect kid's bathtime toy if it's waterproof as specified: IPX7.
Got one of this. Haven't use yet in the shower or bathtub. Used the bedroom and it's loud enough. Managed to stream music for 6hours. It has a nice glowing light that changes its color and good as a night light.
So I tested it out and I broke it :D
- Surprisingly loud
- Packaging says open air transmission range up to 10 metres, but it's definitely higher than that as indoors it only started cutting out at around the 14 metre mark.
- Comes with 2 attachments. A desktop stand and a shower hangar.
- Up to 8 hours play according to packaging
IPX7 Waterproof Standard: Immersible. This gear can be immersed for up to 30 minutes at a depth of up to 1 meter. Which means it should handle any rain or snow, and should survive falling into a creek or shallow river.
It did NOT pass the immersion test.EDIT: It turned back on and is working again. Maybe it has some sort of safety feature that disables it.I filled the sink with water and shoved the speaker in there. Stopped working immediately.
Only buy this if using as a normal bluetooth speaker.
These came on sale the day of the game sale a week ago, chance of finding stock is tiny
Higher than the chances of picking up some decent games or consoles on that day :P

One is returned and the other demo. Sound quality is very average but loud. Cannot complain too much for 3 bucks.
At least 15 left at Big W Ballarat. Still marked as $25 which is why there is still so many left but can confirm it scans at $3
