To celebrate the grand opening of Lido Cinemas, all films showing on the theatre's eight screens will be going for $5 for one day only.

Opening day screenings include a mix bag of genres and themes: expect Ted 2, Love and Mercy - a biopic of the Beach Boys frontman, the mind-boggling horror Human Centipede III, Pixar's Inside Out, blockbuster Jurassic World, Bollywood flick Sardaar Ji and the award-winning Israeli black comedy Zero Motivation, which is being released exclusively at Lido.

  Bit silly to have a one day promotion in their case. They could've got a lot more out of having the $5 (+$1 booking fee) tickets for a week to spread word of mouth. I won't be trying them out at full price.
