I went shopping for some $3 Xbone games and found none left - far too slow.

However I did find packs of 100 FAIRY dishwashing tablets for $7 and packs of 42 tablets for $4.

This pricing was at Auburn and North Ryde.

Also all fishing gear 20% off and picked up a decent Ugly Stik fishing rod combo for $20…

Seems like a fairy good deal

These are rated pretty crappy by Choice. ALdi, Finish, Coles, Woolies, Earth Choice all rate higher

But 7c/wasah it's similar price to Aldi powder.

I am using them - they are OK for me.

I find them to be better than Finish, actually.

      • Yeah me too. I have used these and find them heaps better than the top of the line Finish ones

I prefer Fairy as they breakdown totally and clean well. All the Finish tablets still leave bits of the tablet even after a full wash.

    • I find modern dishwashers don't use as much water for relatively clean loads, which results in Finish Classic tablets not fully diluting and leaving residue. Solution is to use half a tablet, results are fine.

I used to hang my tablets in the basket as per the instructions and set the mode to tablet mode.

I had trouble with various tablets not dissolving fully so I followed the directions on the Finish pack and now just always throw the tablet on the bottom of the machine. Tablets always dissolve now…

So far I am happy with the Fairy tablets - no noticeable difference in the clean - if i had to pick between finish powerball and fairy my results are pretty similar and if anything i lean toward the fairy as doing the better job…

  • Have used them before, never again…they dont clean anywhere near as good as Finish..IMO

    • Agreed. They're crap. I went back to the Aldi 16-in-1 tablets that Choice recommends. They're 20c/tablet for comparison. Almost three times as much as these, but do you really want to be rewashing dirty dishes by hand?

      • I was in Aldi the other day & they had a large packet of tablets and they were 15c/tablet

But I just use the powder, as it's about 5c/wash.

        • I compared those against the award winning 20c ones. Different features and made in China. The award winning ones are made in Luxembourg.

  • Couldn't find any packets this size or price at my local Big W (Kawana QLD).

Although they did have lots of staff dressed up in costumes.

  • isnt this over now? =/

  • Anyone still use rinse-aid, with these sort of tablets (any brand)?
They're supposedly all-in-ones, but I always top-up the rinse-aid when I see the light glowing.

White vinegar is the best rinse aid

  • Came for the DP, left with info about dishwashing tablets and Ugly Stik combo.
