    Most people use a bluetooth odb2 dongle and smartphone.

    unsure if its a bargain or not, but wouldn't mind a plug and play unit. Might wait for some others to chime in before purchase.

    While I understand this is coming from the China, it concerns me if this works on Aussie cars or not.

    Anyone had any experience ?

      OBDII is the defacto communications standard for most car manufacturers after about 1996, depending on the make and model. Most should have it these days.

      e.g., my 1998 N15 Pulsar had a proprietary Nissan "CONSULT" port, but the next model has OBD II.
